4 down, 7 to go!

Haslar, Dover, The Verne and Campsfield House detention centres have closed but asylum seekers and other migrants are still detained at Yarl’s Wood, Colnbrook, Harmondsworth, Morton Hall, Brook, Tinsley and Dungavel.

4 down 7 to go!
4 down 7 to go!

The last detainees left Campsfield House in mid-December 2018. Campsfield is closed. So too is the Close Campsfield Campaign, but Oxford people are still campaigning to close down all immigration detention centres.

While immigration detention continues to exist, we will continue to campaign against the injustice of administrative detention.

The ‘detention estate’ may be shrinking but there is still a lot to do, and tens of thousands of people are still locked up every year indefinitely ‘for administrative’ reasons’ – in our name and with our money.

Join us and campaign to close down all immigrant detention centres!
